About Me

I am a student at Princeton University, where I study architecture with minors in urban studies and history. My interests center around the way that public policy interacts with the built environment, with a particular focus on social and climate justice issues within that. I have taken advantage of several other study abroad opportunities during university so far (in Indonesia, Spain, and Colombia), and I enjoy learning about architecture and urban planning in an international context. Currently, I am in the process of conducting independent research for my junior paper, in which I compare prison design in Scandinavia and the United States.

What I'm Doing in Copenhagen

At DIS, my core course is the Urban Design Studio. I am also taking classes called Climate Change and the City: Responsive Planning, Adaptive Re-use in Europe: Cities and Building, as well as Getting There: Transportation in Urban Europe. I am living in a kollegium (sharing an apartment with both DIS students and local Danish students), and am participating in the visiting host program. I am already having a ton of fun exploring Copenhagen, and am especially excited about spending time visiting museums, exploring the outdoors, and seeing all the city's most interesting buildings.
